     Ailsa Macleod Lawrance was born on 14 June 1907.² She was the daughter of R. C. Lawrance.¹ She married Algernon Harvey Wynyard Rowlandson, son of Michael George Dobbie Rowlandson and Violet May Smith, on 30 September 1937 at Srinigar, India.¹ She died on 11 October 1946 at age 39.¹
     From 30 September 1937, her married name became Rowlandson.¹
