Hon. Robert Abercromby Ogilvy-Grant was born on 4 September 1855.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy-Grant, 9th Earl of Seafield and Constance Helena Abercromby.1 He married Evelyn Maud Hilton, daughter of H. Hilton, on 26 April 1911.1 He died on 11 April 1925 at age 69.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1879 and 1880.1 He fought in the First Boer War in 1881.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1884 and 1885.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1916 in the Royal Army Service Corps.1

James Ogilvy-Grant, 9th Earl of Seafield and Constance Helena Abercromby, on 26 April 1911.1 She died on 27 February 1939.1
