     Sir Charles Elphinstone Fleming Stirling, 8th Bt. was born on 31 July 1831.1 He was the son of George Stirling and Anne Henrietta Gray.1 He married Anne Georgina Murray, daughter of James Murray, on 24 April 1867.1 He died on 10 September 1910 at age 79.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Stirlingshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Stirlingshire.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Stirling, of Glorat, co. Stirling [N.S., 1666] on 19 September 1861.1

     Frances Poole was born circa 1729.1 She was the daughter of Sir Francis Poole, 2nd Bt. and Frances Pelham.1 She married Henry Temple, 2nd Vscount Palmerston, son of Hon. Henry Temple and Jane Barnard, on 6 October 1767.1 She died on 1 June 1769 at Admiralty, Whitehall, London, England.1
     After her marriage, Frances Poole was styled as Viscountess Palmerston on 6 October 1767. From 6 October 1767, her married name became Temple.1
