Edward Burnaby Greene1

     Edward Burnaby Greene was the son of Edward Burnaby and Elizabeth Greene.1 He married Ann Cartwright on 12 February 1761.1 He died on 12 March 1788.1
     He was a poet and translator.1 He was given the name of Edward Greene at birth.1 In 1741 his name was legally changed to Edward Burnaby Greene by Act of Parliament, after he inherited his granfather's fortune.1 He matriculated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, on 22 September 1755.1
