Mabel Ellen Parker1

     Mabel Ellen Parker was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Windsor Parker.2 She married James Pearse Napier, 3rd Baron Napier of Magdala, son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Anne Sarah Pearse, on 25 July 1876.1 She died on 16 July 1907.1
     From 25 July 1876, her married name became Napier.

Henry Dundas Napier was born on 16 February 1864.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Mary Cecilia Scott.2 He married Sybil Gurney, daughter of John Gurney and Isabel Charlotte Blake-Humfrey, on 11 November 1897.1 He died on 13 November 1941 at age 77.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.1 He was Military Attaché to Teheran between 1901 and 1902.1 He was Military Attaché to St. Petersburg between 1903 and 1907.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1907.1 He was Military Attaché to Sofia and Belgrade between 1908 and 1911.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the KGO Central India Horse.1 He was Military Attaché to Sofia and Bucharest in 1914.1 He was a POW in Austria between 1916 and 1917.1 He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of Russia 2nd class.1 He was British Mililtary Representative to Sofia between 1918 and 1919.1

Henry Dundas Napier and Sybil Gurney.2 He married Rosemary Evelyn Cator, daughter of Charles George Lumley Cator and Adeline Louisa Blois, on 15 April 1937.1 He died on 19 February 1978 at age 77 at Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England.1,3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.1
