     Evelyn Mary Smith-Ryland was the daughter of William Charles Henry Alston Smith-Ryland.¹ She married John Wentworth Culme-Seymour, son of Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgiana Watson Watson, on 2 April 1918.¹ She died on 15 August 1977.¹
     Her married name became Culme-Seymour.

     Yvonne Jeanne Vernham was born in 1897 at Wandsworth, Surrey, England.² She was the daughter of Sydney George Vernham.¹ She married Roy Lubbock, son of Frederic Lubbock and Catherine Gurney, on 26 April 1919.¹ She died in 1987.¹

     She was educated at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Her married name became Napier. She wrote the book The Sword Dance: Lady Sarah Lennox and the Napiers, published 1971. She wrote the book A Difficult Country: the Napiers in Scotland, published 1972. She wrote the book Revolution and the Napier Brothers 1820-1840, published 1973.

     John Patrick Douglas Balfour, 3rd Baron Kinross was born on 25 June 1904.¹ He was the son of Patrick Balfour, 2nd Baron Kinross and Caroline Elsie Johnstone-Douglas.¹ He married Angela Mary Culme-Seymour, daughter of Captain George Culme-Seymour and Janet Beatrix Orr Ewing, on 11 February 1938.³ He and Angela Mary Culme-Seymour were divorced in 1942.³ He died on 4 June 1976 at age 71, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Kinross, of Glasclune, co. Haddington [U.K., 1902] on 28 July 1939.¹ He was director of the Publicity Section between 1944 and 1947 at British Embassy, Cairo, Egypt.¹ He wrote the book The Windsor Years.¹

     Vice-Admiral Sir Trevylyan Dacres Willes Napier was born on 19 April 1867 at St. Michael's Terrace, Stoke Dameral, Devon, England.³ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Gerard John Napier and Ella Louisa Wilson.^1,4 He married Mary Elizabeth Culme-Seymour, daughter of Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgiana Watson Watson, on 17 August 1899.¹ He died on 30 July 1920 at age 53 at Bermuda.^1,3
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Trevylyan Miles Wentworth Napier was born on 12 October 1934 at Chelsea, London, England.¹ He was the son of Trevylyan Michael Napier and Priscilla Hayter. He married Mary Philomena Anne Bourke in 1971.² He died on 23 December 2018 at age 84.²
     Trevylyan Miles Wentworth Napier usually went by his middle name of Miles.² He wrote the book Thoroughbred Pedigrees Simplified, published 1973.² He was a racing journalist and author.²

     Vice-Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour, 4th Bt. was born on 29 August 1867.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgiana Watson Watson.¹ He married Florence Agnes Louisa Nugent, daughter of Albert Llewellyn Nugent, 3rd Baron Nugent and Elizabeth Baltazzi, on 9 April 1896.¹ He died on 2 April 1925 at age 57.¹
