     Leopold William Jerome Fane de Salis was born on 25 March 1896 at New South Wales, AustraliaG.1 He was the son of Leopold William Jerome Fane de Salis and Jeannette Caroline Armstrong.1 He married Sara Isabel Garston Wrathall, daughter of William Wrathall, on 12 June 1923 at St. James's Church, Sussex Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 He married Alice Mary Tovey-Cozens in 1963.2 He died on 4 July 1983 at age 87 at Surrey, EnglandG.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)3 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.3

     Leopold Fabius Dietegamus Fane de Salis was born on 26 April 1816 at Florence, ItalyG.1 He was the son of Jerome Fane de Salis, 4th Comte de Salis and Henrietta Foster.1 He was also reported to have been born on 24 June 1816.2 He married Charlotte Macdonald, daughter of Captain George Macdonald and Sarah Mitchell, in 1844 at New South Wales, AustraliaG.1 He died on 20 November 1898 at age 82 at New South Wales, AustraliaG.1
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [New South Wales]3 He lived at Strathmore, Queensland, Australia.3 He lived at Thirwa, New South Wales, Australia.3
