     Alexander Donald Edward Mackinnon was born in 1878 at London, England.2 He was the son of Reverend Donald Hilaro Ouseley Dimsdale Mackinnon and Jemima Macalpine-Leny.3 He married Gertrude Creedon on 27 October 1920 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.1,2 He died on 10 October 1947 at Matsqui, British Columbia, Canada.2

     Gertrude Creedon was born circa 1885.2 She married Alexander Donald Edward Mackinnon, son of Reverend Donald Hilaro Ouseley Dimsdale Mackinnon and Jemima Macalpine-Leny, on 27 October 1920 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.1,2 She died on 26 November 1980 at British Columbia, Canada.2
     From 27 October 1920, her married name became Mackinnon.

     Vice-Admiral Lachlan Donald Ian Mackinnon was born on 2 December 1882.1 He was the son of Reverend Donald Hilaro Ouseley Dimsdale Mackinnon and Jemima Macalpine-Leny.2 He married Imogen Lorna Sayers Lee, daughter of Percy Northorp Lee, on 14 May 1912.1 He died on 11 October 1948 at age 65.1
     He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1935.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1936.1 He was Rear-Admiral of the 2nd Battle Squadron between 1937 and 1938.1

     Imogen Lorna Sayers Lee was born circa 1889.1 She was the daughter of Percy Northorp Lee.2 She married Vice-Admiral Lachlan Donald Ian Mackinnon, son of Reverend Donald Hilaro Ouseley Dimsdale Mackinnon and Jemima Macalpine-Leny, on 14 May 1912.1 She died on 16 April 1966.
     From 14 May 1912, her married name became Mackinnon.

     Alan Hood Ian Mackinnon was born on 15 January 1920.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Lachlan Donald Ian Mackinnon and Imogen Lorna Sayers Lee.2 He married Hazel Rolfe, daughter of George Rolfe, on 14 February 1942.1 He died on 11 June 1947 at age 27, as a result of a flying accident.1,3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Fleet Air Arm, Royal Navy.1

     Hazel Rolfe is the daughter of George Rolfe.2 She married, firstly, Alan Hood Ian Mackinnon, son of Vice-Admiral Lachlan Donald Ian Mackinnon and Imogen Lorna Sayers Lee, on 14 February 1942.1 She married, secondly, Commander Oswald G. W. Hutchinson in 1949.1
     From 14 February 1942, her married name became Mackinnon. From 1949, her married name became Hutchinson.1 She lived in 2003 at 31a Martlett's Court, Montargis Way, Chapel Green, Crowborough, Sussex, EnglandG.1
