     Charles Perry Macartney was born on 3 November 1880.¹ He was the son of Edward Hardman Macartney and Georgiana Henrietta Moore.² He married Daphne Violet King, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry James King, on 2 December 1912.¹ He died in 1947.¹

     Daphne Violet King was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry James King.² She married Charles Perry Macartney, son of Edward Hardman Macartney and Georgiana Henrietta Moore, on 2 December 1912.¹ She died in 1976.¹
     From 2 December 1912, her married name became Macartney.

     Violet Moore Macartney was born on 24 February 1914.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Perry Macartney and Daphne Violet King.² She died on 2 January 2001 at age 86.¹

     Nancy Gower Macartney was born on 24 January 1920.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Perry Macartney and Daphne Violet King.² She married Leonard James Basterfield, son of Philip Basterfield, on 30 August 1958.¹
     She was educated at Friends School, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.¹ From 30 August 1958, her married name became Basterfield. She lived in 2003 at 43 Tramway Parade, Beaumaris, Victoria, Australia^G.¹

     Leonard James Basterfield was the son of Philip Basterfield.² He married Nancy Gower Macartney, daughter of Charles Perry Macartney and Daphne Violet King, on 30 August 1958.¹ He died on 18 August 1988.¹

     Josephine Nancy Basterfield was born on 29 October 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Leonard James Basterfield and Nancy Gower Macartney.²
