     Her married name became Cairns. After her marriage, Olive Cobbold was styled as Countess Cairns on 14 January 1905.

     Margaretha Gertrude Garvan Heitmann was baptised on 19 January 1783 at Fredricksted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands^G.¹ She was the daughter of Frederik Heitmann and Margareta Garvan.¹ She married Richard Wadeson Carter on 7 June 1810 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹
