     Sir Drummond Cospatric Hamilton-Spencer-Smith, 5th Bt. was born on 4 November 1876.2 He was the son of Reverend Spencer Compton Hamilton-Spencer-Smith and Mary Baillie-Hamilton.2 He married, firstly, Roma Hope, daughter of Arthur Hope, on 6 December 1915.2 He married, secondly, Mary Aurora Tudor, daughter of Reverend Henry Tudor, on 27 September 1923.2 He died on 18 December 1955 at age 79.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was Staff Officer and Military Secretary to the General Officer Commanding NZ Forces between 1910 and 1913.2 He was Staff Officer, Royal Horse Artillery.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He was Commandant, Royal Artillery Officers Cadet School, Exeter between 1917 and 1918.2 He was Commandant, 4th Army Artillery School between 1917 and 1918.2 He was with the International Commission of Control, Berlin between 1920 and 1924.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1923.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1924 in the Royal Artillery.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Smith, of Tring Park, co. Hertford [U.K., 1804] on 8 May 1947.2

     Michael Seymour Spencer-Smith was born on 6 July 1881.1 He was the son of Reverend Spencer Compton Hamilton-Spencer-Smith and Mary Baillie-Hamilton.2 He married Evelyn Penelope Delmé Radcliffe, daughter of Reverend Arthur Henry Delmé Radcliffe and Beatrice Mary Frederica Ryder, on 25 July 1907.1 He died on 20 January 1928 at age 46.1
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the General List.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1 He was Director of the Bank of England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the City of London in 1926.1

     Evelyn Penelope Delmé Radcliffe was the daughter of Reverend Arthur Henry Delmé Radcliffe and Beatrice Mary Frederica Ryder. She married, firstly, Michael Seymour Spencer-Smith, son of Reverend Spencer Compton Hamilton-Spencer-Smith and Mary Baillie-Hamilton, on 25 July 1907.1 She married, secondly, Elliot Francis Montagu Butler on 28 July 1934.1 She died on 5 March 1974.1
     From 25 July 1907, her married name became Spencer-Smith. From 28 July 1934, her married name became Butler.1

     Philippa Mary Ford was the daughter of Captain Richard Ford.2 She married Peter Compton Spencer-Smith, son of Michael Seymour Spencer-Smith and Evelyn Penelope Delmé Radcliffe, on 27 June 1950.1 She died on 10 February 2010.3
     From 27 June 1950, her married name became Spencer-Smith. She lived in 2003 at Tingley House, Hexton Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England.1
