Florence Goddard Soltau1

     Florence Goddard Soltau was born on 28 January 1861.1 She was the daughter of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.1 She married Lennard Edward Dick, son of Captain John Goodrich Dick and Harriet Baker, on 25 April 1889 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.1 She died on 3 June 1929 at age 68.1
     From 25 April 1889, her married name became Dick.1

     John Frederick Soltau was born on 17 October 1863 at Ridgeway Lodge, England.1 He was the son of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.1 He died on 30 December 1885 at age 22 at Ginnis, Sudan, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Subaltern in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1885.1

     George Ludlow Lopes was born on 31 July 1836.1 He was the son of Sir Ralph Lopes, 2nd Bt. and Susan Gibbs Ludlow.2 He married Georgina Emma de Arroyave, daughter of Anselmo de Arroyave, on 1 April 1871.1 He died on 3 October 1909 at age 73.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 16th Lancers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Northleigh, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.1
