     Captain Valentine Egerton Bagot Phillimore was born on 14 February 1875.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Augustus Phillimore and Harriet Eleanor Fortescue.2 He married, firstly, Mary Kathleen Robinson, daughter of George Robinson, on 16 June 1908.1 He married, secondly, Ines Sceberras-d' Amico di Castel Cicciano, daughter of Baron Unknown di Castel Cicciano, on 16 August 1910.1 He died on 24 October 1945 at age 70.1
     He was educated at HMS Britannia.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1 He fought in the Boxer Rebellion, during the relief Legations of the negations of Peking, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Naval Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain.1 He was the naval advisor for the British Mission to South Russia.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1 He retired from the military in 1928.1

     Reverend Edward Granville Phillimore was born on 7 September 1876.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Augustus Phillimore and Harriet Eleanor Fortescue.2 He married, firstly, Mabel von Essen Moberly, daughter of Henry Moberly, in 1903.1 He married, secondly, Gertrude May Greenland, daughter of Reverend Thomas Greenland.1 He died on 21 April 1959 at age 82.1
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1899 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a Deacon in 1900.1 He was a Priest in 1902.1 He was the Vicar at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, West Fordington, Dorchester, Dorset, England.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1929 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Chaplain between 1941 and 1953 at St. Catherine's Home, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, England.1
