     Ralph Legge Pomeroy, 8th Viscount Harberton was born on 31 December 1869.¹ He was the son of James Spencer Pomeroy, 6th Viscount Harberton and Florence Wallace Legge.² He married Mary Katherine Leatham, daughter of Arthur William Leatham, on 25 June 1907.¹ He died on 4 July 1956 at age 86.¹
     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was severely wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the General Reserve Officers, 5th Dragoon Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Harberton of Carbery, co. Kildare [I., 1783] on 22 April 1944.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Harberton [I., 1791] on 22 April 1944.¹

     Hon. Aline Florence Pomeroy was the daughter of James Spencer Pomeroy, 6th Viscount Harberton and Florence Wallace Legge.² She died on 11 August 1880.¹

     Hon. Hilda Evelyn Pomeroy was the daughter of James Spencer Pomeroy, 6th Viscount Harberton and Florence Wallace Legge.² She married Thomas Arthur Carless Attwood on 5 October 1892.¹ She died on 28 October 1948, without issue.¹
     From 5 October 1892, her married name became Attwood. Her marriage to Thomas Arthur Carless Attwood was annulled in 1902.¹

     Thomas Arthur Carless Attwood married Hon. Hilda Evelyn Pomeroy, daughter of James Spencer Pomeroy, 6th Viscount Harberton and Florence Wallace Legge, on 5 October 1892.¹ He died on 21 April 1937.¹
     He lived at Malvern Wells, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ His marriage to Hon. Hilda Evelyn Pomeroy was annulled in 1902.¹

     Arthur William Leatham held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Smallfield Place, Smallfield, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Mary Katherine Leatham was the daughter of Arthur William Leatham.² She married Ralph Legge Pomeroy, 8th Viscount Harberton, son of James Spencer Pomeroy, 6th Viscount Harberton and Florence Wallace Legge, on 25 June 1907.¹ She died on 10 October 1971.¹
     From 25 June 1907, her married name became Pomeroy. After her marriage, Mary Katherine Leatham was styled as Viscountess Harberton on 22 April 1944.

     Henry Ralph Martyn Pomeroy, 9th Viscount Harberton was born on 12 October 1908.¹ He was the son of Ralph Legge Pomeroy, 8th Viscount Harberton and Mary Katherine Leatham.² He died in 1980.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Harberton [I., 1791] on 4 July 1956.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Harberton of Carbery, co. Kildare [I., 1783] on 4 July 1956.¹

     Major Hon. Robert William Pomeroy was born on 29 February 1916.¹ He was the son of Ralph Legge Pomeroy, 8th Viscount Harberton and Mary Katherine Leatham.² He married Winifred Anne Colegate, daughter of Sir Arthur Colegate and Winifred Mary Worsley, on 28 April 1953.¹ He died on 5 April 1997 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He retired from the military in 1960, with the rank of Major, late of the Welsh Guards.¹

     Arthur James Brocklebank Scott was born on 4 November 2004.² He is the son of Anthony Crauford Scott and Diana Lasswell Brocklebank.¹

     Winifred Anne Colegate was born in 1927.² She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Colegate and Winifred Mary Worsley.^3,2 She married Major Hon. Robert William Pomeroy, son of Ralph Legge Pomeroy, 8th Viscount Harberton and Mary Katherine Leatham, on 28 April 1953.¹ She died on 22 October 2014 at Nunney, Somerset, England.²
     Winifred Anne Colegate usually went by her middle name of Anne.¹ From 28 April 1953, her married name became Pomeroy. She lived in 2003 at Rockfield Stables, Nunney, Frome, Somerset, England^G.¹
