     Cromwell Lockhart, 12th of the Lee was the son of Sir William Lockhart, 11th of the Lee and Robina Sewster.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Harvie, daughter of Sir Daniel Harvie.1 He married, secondly, Martha Lockhart, daughter of John Lockhart, Lord Castlehill.1 He died, without issue.1

     Richard Lockhart, 13th of the Lee was the son of Sir William Lockhart, 11th of the Lee and Robina Sewster.2 He married Jean Houstoun, daughter of Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Ana Hamilton, on 5 April 1694 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,3 He died, without issue.1

     Jean Houstoun was the daughter of Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Ana Hamilton.2,3 She married, firstly, Walter Dundas of Dundas, son of Walter Dundas of Dundas and Lady Christian Leslie, on 30 July 1685 at Dalmeny, West Lothian, Scotland.2,4 She married, secondly, Richard Lockhart, 13th of the Lee, son of Sir William Lockhart, 11th of the Lee and Robina Sewster, on 5 April 1694 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,4 She married, thirdly, Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant, son of James Grant, 7th of Freuchie and Lady Mary Stuart, on 2 March 1701 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.5,4 She died on 31 January 1734, without issue.3
     From 30 July 1685, her married name became Dundas.2 From 5 April 1694, her married name became Lockhart. From 2 March 1701, her married name became Grant.5

     James Lockhart, 15th of the Lee was the son of Sir William Lockhart, 11th of the Lee and Robina Sewster.2 He married Dorothy Lucan, daughter of Sir William Lucan.1 He died in 1718.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lanarkshire in 1715.1 He had two elder sons (who died without issue) and four daughters.1
