     George Wauchope Hunter Blair was born on 14 February 1857.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Hunter Blair of Blairquhan and Dunskey, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Wauchope.2 He died on 8 March 1858 at age 1.1

Edward Hunter Blair of Dunskey, 6th Bt.1

     Edward Hunter Blair of Dunskey, 6th Bt. was born on 14 March 1858.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Hunter Blair of Blairquhan and Dunskey, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Wauchope.2 He married Cecilia Dora Farrer, daughter of Sir William James Farrer and Anna Maria Shaw-Lefevre, on 6 July 1886.2 He died on 11 April 1945 at age 87.2
     He retired from the military in 1898, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Navy.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hunter Blair, of Dunskey [G.B., 1786] on 12 September 1939.2

     Major Forbes Cromartie Hunter Blair was born on 22 September 1859.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Hunter Blair of Blairquhan and Dunskey, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Wauchope.2 He died on 27 September 1940 at age 81, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He was a partner of Wauchope, Moodie & Company, of Leith.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 4th Battalion, Royal Scots.1 In 1914 served WW I Gallipoli, Salonica and Egypt (four medals, star.)1 He fought in the First World War, in Gallipoli, Salonika and Egypt.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1915 in the 3rd Battalion.1 He was Commandant of the Combined Base Depot Egypt in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1919.1
