     Edward Collett Hort was born on 19 May 1869.¹ He was the son of Fenton John Anthony Hort and Fanny Henrietta Holland.² He married Ethel Augusta Gordon, daughter of Reverend Arthur Pitman Gordon, on 20 April 1897.¹ He died on 14 October 1922 at age 53.¹
     He was Assistant Physician of the Italian Hospital.¹ He was Director of Bacteriology Department, Addington Park War Hospital.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh (F.R.C.P.E.)²

     Ethel Augusta Gordon was the daughter of Reverend Arthur Pitman Gordon.² She married Edward Collett Hort, son of Fenton John Anthony Hort and Fanny Henrietta Holland, on 20 April 1897.¹ She died on 17 February 1939.¹
     From 20 April 1897, her married name became Hort.

     Violet Gordon Hort was born on 7 February 1898.¹ He was the son of Edward Collett Hort and Ethel Augusta Gordon.² He died on 27 November 1928 at age 30, unmarried.¹
     He was a bacteriologist.² He was with the Civil Service between 1919 and 1920.¹

     Joan Gabrielle Hort was born on 27 September 1913.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Collett Hort and Ethel Augusta Gordon.² She married, secondly, Guy Downing.² She married, firstly, Richard Westcott-Betenson in 1940.¹
     Her married name became Downing.² From 1940, her married name became Westcott-Betenson.

     Richard Westcott-Betenson married Joan Gabrielle Hort, daughter of Edward Collett Hort and Ethel Augusta Gordon, in 1940.¹

     Frederick Aylmer Hort was born on 15 July 1872.¹ He was the son of Fenton John Anthony Hort and Fanny Henrietta Holland.² He married Muriel Mary Thompson, daughter of Rev. Canon George Thompson, on 17 August 1920.¹ He died on 25 January 1952 at age 79.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)² He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in 1915 in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹
