     George Carnegie, Lord Rosehill was born on 3 November 1791.1 He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.1 He died on 2 February 1807 at age 15, lost at sea, from onboard H.M.S. Blenheim.1
     He was styled as Lord Rosehill between 1792 and 1807.1 He was educated at Twyford School, Twyford, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.1

     William Hopetoun Carnegie, 8th Earl of Northesk was born on 16 October 1794.1 He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.1 He married Georgiana Maria Elliot, daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir George Elliot and Eliza Cecilia Ness, on 14 February 1843.2 He died on 5 December 1878 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Rosehill and Eglismauldie [S., 1639] on 28 May 1831.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Northesk [S., 1647] on 28 May 1831.1

     Hon. John Jervis Carnegie was born on 8 July 1807.1 He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Stevenson, daughter of David Stevenson, on 13 February 1836.1 He married, secondly, Georgiana Marjoribanks, daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Georgiana de Lautour, on 8 June 1876.1 He died on 18 January 1892 at age 84.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1862.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Charlotte Stevenson1

     Charlotte Stevenson was the daughter of David Stevenson.1 She married Hon. John Jervis Carnegie, son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 13 February 1836.1 She died on 20 May 1874.1
     Her married name became Carnegie.

     Georgiana Marjoribanks was born on 22 April 1813.2 She was the daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Georgiana de Lautour.3 She was baptised on 19 May 1813 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England.2 She married, firstly, Elliot Grasett before 1876.1 She married, secondly, Hon. John Jervis Carnegie, son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 8 June 1876.1 She died on 10 April 1896 at age 82.1
     From before 1876, her married name became Grasett.1 Her married name became Carnegie.
