     Phoebe Louisa Wavell-Paxton was born on 12 May 1925.1 She was the daughter of Captain Raymond George Wavell-Paxton and Olive Louise Lawson.1 She married Derek Aldwin Grant, son of Charles Frederick Grant, on 24 July 1954.2 She died on 18 March 2008 at age 82.3
     From 24 July 1954, her married name became Grant. She lived in 2003 at Carters Lodge, Handcross, Sussex, EnglandG.2

Arthur Goodall Wavell and Anne Paxton.1 He married Florence Darwin Huish, daughter of Marcus Huish and Frances Sarah Darwin, on 27 January 1880 at Smalley, Derbyshire, England.1,2 He died on 21 November 1915 at age 77.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Indian Civil Service before 1877.1 He lived at 30 Cambridge Square, Hyde Park, London, EnglandG.1

     Colonel Llewellyn Wavell was born on 15 November 1839.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Goodall Wavell and Anne Paxton.1 He married Emily Ann Martha Cobb, daughter of John Cooper Cobb, on 24 June 1869.1 He died on 27 November 1910 at age 71.1
     He was commissioned with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the Indian Army.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny, where he was one of the first officers through the gates at the Siege of Delhi.1 He fought in the China War between 1860 and 1862.1 He fought in the Afghan War in 1879.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1883.1 He lived at Somborne, Farnborough, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
