Sir George Tom Molesworth Bridges and Janet Florence Menzies.1 She married, firstly, Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin, son of Eric Chaplin, 2nd Viscount Chaplin and Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson, on 9 January 1933.1 She and Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin were divorced in 1950.2 She married, secondly, George James Henry Lees-Milne, son of George Crompton Lees-Milne and Helen Christina Bailey, on 19 November 1951 at Chelsea, London, England.3 She died on 18 March 1994 at age 84 at Essex House, Badminton, Gloucestershire, England.3
Her married name became Chaplin. After her marriage, Alvilde Bridges was styled as Viscountess Chaplin on 12 September 1949. From 19 November 1951, her married name became Lees-Milne.3
