     James Andrew Minchin was born on 5 October 1857.¹ He was the son of Alfred Minchin and Lucy Martin.² He married Charlotte Eliza Hitchcock, daughter of David Hitchcock, on 24 December 1878.¹ He died on 14 November 1940 at age 83.¹
     He was a farmer.¹ He lived at Pent Lynn, Balkuling, Western Australia, Australia^G.¹

     Charlotte Eliza Hitchcock was born on 19 June 1861.¹ She was the daughter of David Hitchcock.¹ She married James Andrew Minchin, son of Alfred Minchin and Lucy Martin, on 24 December 1878.¹ She died on 27 September 1946 at age 85.¹
     From 24 December 1878, her married name became Minchin.

     Lieutenant Joseph Henry Minchin was born on 30 August 1881.¹ He was the son of James Andrew Minchin and Charlotte Eliza Hitchcock.² He married Pearly Louisa McDonald, daughter of Peter James McDonald, on 15 March 1913.¹ He died on 2 April 1917 at age 35, killed in action.³
     He fought in the Boer War, with the West Australian contingent.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 51st Battalion, Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He gained the rank of First World War.¹

     Pearly Louisa McDonald was the daughter of Peter James McDonald.¹ She married, firstly, Lieutenant Joseph Henry Minchin, son of James Andrew Minchin and Charlotte Eliza Hitchcock, on 15 March 1913.¹ She died on 11 November 1961.¹
     From 15 March 1913, her married name became Minchin. Her married name became Proctor.¹

     Donald Henry Minchin was born on 6 February 1914.¹ He is the son of Lieutenant Joseph Henry Minchin and Pearly Louisa McDonald.² He married Dorothy Goldsmith, daughter of Reginald Goldsmith, on 29 June 1940.¹
     He was a hospital orderly.¹ He lived in 1976 at 13 Brockway Road, Graylands, Western Australia, Australia^G.¹

     Dorothy Goldsmith is the daughter of Reginald Goldsmith.² She married Donald Henry Minchin, son of Lieutenant Joseph Henry Minchin and Pearly Louisa McDonald, on 29 June 1940.¹
     From 29 June 1940, her married name became Minchin.

     Peter Barry Minchin was born on 1 February 1941.¹ He was the son of Donald Henry Minchin and Dorothy Goldsmith.² He married Linda Gayle Lacy, daughter of George Albert Lacy and Edna Winifred Davis, on 19 February 1977.³ He died on 29 December 2002 at age 61.³
     He adopted David Lee Minchin.³ He adopted Bruce William Minchin.³

     Anthony William Minchin was born on 22 July 1942.¹ He is the son of Donald Henry Minchin and Dorothy Goldsmith.² He married Lynette June Millward, daughter of William Harry Millward, on 14 October 1967.¹
