Frederick Philip Lewis Cunliffe-Owen was born on 30 January 1855.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Philip Cunliffe-Owen and Jenny von Reitzenstein.2 He married Emma Pauline de Couvreu de Deckersberg on 22 November 1877.1 He and Emma Pauline de Couvreu de Deckersberg were divorced in 1887 at SwitzerlandG.1 He died on 30 June 1926 at age 71.1
