     Robert de Holand was born in 1220.1 He was the son of Sir Robert de Holand and Cecily de Columbers.1 He married Margaret de Kellett, daughter of Adam de Kellett and Matilda de Singleton.1 He died in 1275.1

     Margaret Gordon was born illegitimately.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon, 1st Earl of Huntly and unknown Cumming.1 She married Hugh Rose, 8th of Kilravock, son of Hugh Rose, 7th of Kilravock and Moira Mackintosh, on 26 June 1484.1 She died in 1506.
     From 26 June 1484, her married name became Rose.1

Hugh Rose, 8th of Kilravock1

     Hugh Rose, 8th of Kilravock was born in 1442.2 He was the son of Hugh Rose, 7th of Kilravock and Moira Mackintosh.3 He married, firstly, Isabel Sutherland, daughter of William Sutherland of Berriedale, in 1474.3 He married, secondly, Margaret Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, 1st Earl of Huntly and unknown Cumming, on 26 June 1484.1 He died on 17 March 1517.3
     On 20 May 1496 he was served heir to his father.3

     James Paterson was born on 17 July 1826 at Middlethird Farm, Galston, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Robert Paterson and Agnes Howie.1 He married Mary Jane Forbes.1 He died on 6 November 1906 at age 80 at Hawthorn, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1,2
     He emigrated to Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG, arriving on October 1852.1 He founded James Paterson & Company, steamships and coal importer.1 He was Member of Melbourne City Council between 1870 and 1885.2
