     Hon. Ann Madeline Cunliffe was the daughter of Walter Cunliffe, 1st Baron Cunliffe and Edith Cunningham Boothby.2 She married Brigadier John Wedderburn-Maxwell, son of Major James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell and Helen Mary Godfrey Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne, on 27 April 1922.2
     From 27 April 1922, her married name became Wedderburn-Maxwell.

Major James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell1

     Major James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell was born on 5 February 1849.2 He is the son of Andrew Wedderburn-Maxwell of Middlebie and Joanna Keir.2 He married Helen Mary Godfrey Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne, daughter of Reverend Henry Godfrey Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne, on 29 October 1891.2 He died on 28 December 1917 at age 68.2
     He was given the name of James Andrew Colville Wedderburn at birth. He fought in the Jandola Expedition in 1880.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Staff Corps.2 He fought in the Burma Campaign between 1886 and 1887.2 In 1896 his name was legally changed to James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kirkcudbrightshire.2 He lived at Glenlair, Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.2 He lived at Middlebie, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.2

     Brigadier John Wedderburn-Maxwell was born on 20 July 1894.2 He was the son of Major James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell and Helen Mary Godfrey Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne.2 He married Hon. Ann Madeline Cunliffe, daughter of Walter Cunliffe, 1st Baron Cunliffe and Edith Cunningham Boothby, on 27 April 1922.2 He died on 24 January 1990 at age 95.2,3
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1943.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire, ScotlandG.1

     Hon. Ethel Peggy Cunliffe was the daughter of Walter Cunliffe, 1st Baron Cunliffe and Edith Cunningham Boothby.2 She married, firstly, Brigadier Bernard Lorenzo Fock, son of Colonel Henry Edward William Fock, 5th Baron de Robeck and Anna Cranston Alexander, on 5 December 1932.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Sir Archibald Richard Southby, 2nd Bt., son of Commander Sir Archibald Richard James Southby, 1st Bt. and Phyllis Mary Garton, in 1964.1 She died on 3 August 1978.1
     From 5 December 1932, her married name became Fock. From 1964, her married name became Southby.1
