Lord Charles Vere Ferrers Townshend1

     Lord Charles Vere Ferrers Townshend was born on 16 September 1785 at Grosvenor Park, London, England.1,2 He was the son of George Townshend, 2nd Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Charlotte Ellerker.1 He married Charlotte Loftus, daughter of General William Loftus and Lady Elizabeth Townshend, on 24 March 1812.1 He died on 5 November 1853 at age 68 at March, Cambridgeshire, England.1,2

     Charlotte Loftus was the daughter of General William Loftus and Lady Elizabeth Townshend.1 She married Lord Charles Vere Ferrers Townshend, son of George Townshend, 2nd Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Charlotte Ellerker, on 24 March 1812.1 She died on 21 March 1866.1
     From 24 March 1812, her married name became Townshend.1

     Lady Charlotte Barbara Townshend was born on 26 June 1781 at Pendley House, Hertfordshire, England.3 She was the daughter of George Townshend, 2nd Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Charlotte Ellerker.1 She married Lt.-Col. Cecil Bisshopp, son of Cecil Bisshopp, 12th Baron Zouche (of Hayngworth) and Harriet Anne Southwell, on 6 April 1805.1 She died on 3 October 1807 at age 26, without issue.1
     From 6 April 1805, her married name became Bisshopp.1

Lt.-Col. Cecil Bisshopp1

     Lt.-Col. Cecil Bisshopp was born on 25 June 1783.2 He was the son of Cecil Bisshopp, 12th Baron Zouche (of Hayngworth) and Harriet Anne Southwell.1,2 He married Lady Charlotte Barbara Townshend, daughter of George Townshend, 2nd Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Charlotte Ellerker, on 6 April 1805.1 He died on 11 July 1813 at age 30 at Ontario, CanadaG, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Foot Guards.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport, Isle of Man from 1811 to 1812.2 He fought in the War of 1812.1

     From 5 August 1815, her married name became Boultbee.1
