     Alice Geraldine Ward was born on 8 December 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon. She married Valentine Dudley Henry Cary Elwes, son of Cary Charles Elwes and Elinor Rye, on 30 November 1865.¹ She died on 21 March 1907 at age 62.¹

     Bede Evelyn Dominick Elwes was born on 17 August 1931 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Simon Edmund Vincent Paul Elwes and Hon. Gloria Elinor Rodd.² He married Tessa Georgina Kennedy, daughter of Geoffrey Alexander Farrer Kennedy and Daska Marija Ivanovic-Banac, on 27 January 1958 at Havanna, Cuba.² He and Tessa Georgina Kennedy were divorced in 1968.¹ He died on 5 September 1975 at age 44.²
