Sir William Edward Crosbie, 6th Bt. was born on 18 May 1794.1 He was the son of Sir Edward William Crosbie, 5th Bt. and Castiliana Westenra.2 He married Dorothea Alicia Walsh, daughter of John Walsh and Henrietta Crosbie, on 30 March 1839.1 He died on 3 October 1860 at age 66, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Crosbie, of Maryborough, Queen's County [I., 1630] on 5 June 1798.1 He fought in the Battle of Bergen-op-Zoom, where he was severely wounded.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the Army.1
