     Major Sir Arnold Geoffroy de Montmorency, 19th Bt. was born on 27 July 1908.1 He was the son of James Edward Geoffrey de Montmorency and Caroline Maud Saumarez de Havilland.2 He married, firstly, Nettie Hay Anderson, daughter of William Anderson, on 20 April 1949.1 He married, secondly, Nettie Hay Anderson, daughter of William Anderson, on 29 September 1972.3 He died on 23 December 2003 at age 95, without issue.4
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1932 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1934 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 His marriage to Nettie Hay Anderson was annulled in 1953.3 He succeeded as the 19th Baronet Morres, of Knockagh, co. Tipperary [I., 1631] in 1979.2 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.4
