     Edith Crosland was born on 12 June 1861 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Charles Crosland and Eliza Thornton.1 She was baptised on 21 August 1861 at Paddock, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 She married Frederick Aldcroft Kay, son of Robert Henry Kay and Eliza Phillips, in September 1882 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 She and Frederick Aldcroft Kay were divorced in 1897 at London, EnglandG, Archive Kew.2 She married, secondly, Thomas Brownell Burnham, son of Gordon Webster Burnham and Maria Louisa Brownell, on 9 February 1899.1 She died on 13 May 1914 at age 52 at Slaugham, Sussex, EnglandG.1

Sir William Oliphant of Aberdalgie1

     Sir William Oliphant of Aberdalgie is the son of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie.2 He married Marian de Berwick, daughter of Thomas de Berwick.1
     In 1417 he was retoured heir.1 In 1424 he was sent to London as hostage for ransom of King James I, and disappears from records there after 1425.1

     Marian de Berwick was the daughter of Thomas de Berwick.3 She married, firstly, Sir William Oliphant of Aberdalgie, son of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie.1 She married, secondly, James Livingston, 1st Lord Livingston, son of Sir Alexander Livingston of Callendar and Janet Dundas.1 She died before 20 October 1478.3
     Her married name became Oliphant.1 Her married name became Livingston.1

     James Oliphant was the son of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie and Margaret Ogilvy.2 He died in June 1491, killed in feud between Lord Oliphant and Earl of Buchan.1
     He was ancestor of the Oliphants of Archellie and Bachilton.1 He lived at Archellie, Methven, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 On 17 July 1471 he held Archellie by charter.1 In June 1491 (an unknown value.)1
