     Thomas Booth was born on 2 November 1846.¹ He was the son of John Booth and Hannah Bramall.¹ He married Mary Ellen Leigh, daughter of Thomas Leigh and Elizabeth Timperley, on 7 October 1869.¹ He died on 2 April 1925 at age 78, with other issue.¹
