Emily Baring1

     Emily Baring was born in 1808.2 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Baring, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ursula Sealy.1 She was baptised on 3 February 1809 at St. Marylebone, London, England.2 She married Reverend William Maxwell du Pré on 6 July 1837.1 She died in 1883.1
     From 6 July 1837, her married name became du Pré.1

     Anne Papillon was the daughter of Thomas Papillon.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Richard Hardinge, son of Reverend Henry Hardinge and Frances Best, in 1815.1 She died in 1819.1

Mary Whitbread1

     Mary Whitbread was born on 27 December 1770 at Jermyn Street, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Samuel Whitbread and Lady Mary Cornwall.1 She married Captain Hon. Sir George Grey, 1st Bt., son of General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey and Elizabeth Grey, on 18 June 1795.3 She died on 9 May 1858 at age 87.3
     Her married name became Grey.

     Lady Mary Cornwall was born on 6 June 1736 at Eye, Suffolk, England.1 She was the daughter of Charles Cornwallis, 1st Earl Cornwallis and Hon. Elizabeth Townshend.1 She married Samuel Whitbread on 13 August 1769.1 She died on 27 December 1770 at age 34 at Jermyn Street, London, England.1
     From 13 August 1769, her married name became Whitbread.

     General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey was baptised on 23 October 1729 at Howick, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt. and Hannah Wood.2 He married Elizabeth Grey, daughter of George Grey and Elizabeth Ogle, on 8 June 1762 at Southwick, County Durham, EnglandG.1 He died on 14 November 1807 at age 78 at Howick, Northumberland, EnglandG.3
     He gained the rank of Major-General in 1777.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1782.1 He gained the rank of General in 1796.1 He was created 1st Baron Grey of Howick, co. Northumberland [U.K.] on 23 June 1801.1 He was created 1st Viscount Howick, co. Northumberland [U.K.] on 11 April 1806.1 He was created 1st Earl Grey [U.K.] on 11 April 1806.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4

     After her marriage, Elizabeth Grey was styled as Baroness Grey of Howick on 23 June 1801. After her marriage, Elizabeth Grey was styled as Countess Grey on 11 April 1806.

     George Grey was born on 4 August 1713.2 He was the son of George Grey and Alice Clavering.2 He married Elizabeth Ogle, daughter of Nathaniel Ogle and Elizabeth Newton, in June 1740.2 He died circa March 1746.2 He was buried on 28 March 1746.2

Kenneth Mackenzie, Lord Fortrose1

     Kenneth Mackenzie, Lord Fortrose was born in 1717.1 He was the son of William Mackenzie, 5th Earl of Seaforth and Mary Kennet.1 He married Lady Mary Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart, 6th Earl of Galloway and Lady Anne Keith, on 11 September 1741.2 He died on 18 October 1761.2
     He was styled as Lord Fortrose.1 He held the office of Burgess of Edinburgh in 1741.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness Burghs between 1741 and 1747.1 In 1745 he was loyal to the Hanoverians during the Uprising, despite his family history.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ross-shire between 1747 and 1761.1
