     Colonel William Butler Gosset was the son of Sir Ralph Allen Gosset and Arabella Sarah Butler.2 He married Alice Lee Bevan, daughter of Robert Cooper Lee Bevan and Agneta Elizabeth Yorke, on 3 May 1867.1 He died on 17 November 1906.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1

     Emma Frances Shuttleworth was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Philip Nicholas Shuttleworth and Emma Martha Welch.1,2 She married Robert Cooper Lee Bevan, son of David Bevan, on 30 April 1856.1 She died on 15 March 1909.1
     From 30 April 1856, her married name became Bevan.1

Philip Nicholas Shuttleworth was born on 9 February 1782 at Kirkham, Lancashire, England.3 He was the son of Reverend Humphrey Shuttleworth and Anne Hoghton.3 He married Emma Martha Welch, daughter of George Welch, in 1823 at Hambleton, Buckinghamshire, England.3 He died on 7 January 1842 at age 59 at Chichester, Sussex, England.3
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1822 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)3 He held the office of Bishop of Chichester between 1840 and 1842.1
