     unknown wife (?) married Sir Thomas Wodehouse, son of Sir Edward Wodehouse and Jane Swathing.1
     She lived at Picardy, FranceG.1 Her married name became Wodehouse.

Sir Roger Wodehouse1

     Sir Roger Wodehouse was the son of Sir Thomas Wodehouse and unknown wife (?)2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Ratcliff, daughter of Sir Robert Ratcliff.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Drury, daughter of John Drury.1 He died in 1560, having by her had a daughter (Ursula, married the eldest s of Sir Thomas Cotton).1
     He was appointed Knight in 1548.1 He had three other sons and four daughters by his first wife.1

     Thomas Wodehouse was the son of Sir Roger Wodehouse and Elizabeth Ratcliff.2 He married Margaret Shelton, daughter of Sir John Shelton and Anne Boleyn.1 He died in 1547, killed in action.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He fought in the Battle of Musselburgh in 1547, against the Scots.1

     Sir John Shelton was born circa 1472 at Shelton, Norfolk, England.2 He is the son of Sir Ralph Shelton and Margaret Clere.2 He married Anne Boleyn, daughter of Sir William Boleyn and Lady Margaret Butler, circa 1497.2 He died on 21 December 1539.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1504.2 He was appointed Knight in 1509.2

     Sir Philip Wodehouse, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Roger Wodehouse and Mary Corbet.2 He married Grizell Yelverton, daughter of William Yelverton, on 22 December 1582.1 He died on 30 October 1623.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Castle Rising from 1586 to 1587.1 He was appointed Knight in 1596 for valour at the taking of Cadiz.1 He was created 1st Baronet Wodehouse, of Kimberley, co. Norfolk [England] on 29 June 1611.1 He lived at Kimberley, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
