     Lady Marjorie Blanche Eva Greville was born on 25 October 1884.2 She was the daughter of Francis Richard Charles Guy Greville, 5th Earl of Warwick and Frances Evelyn Maynard.1,2 She married, firstly, Charles William Reginald Duncombe, 2nd Earl of Feversham of Ryedale, son of William Reginald Duncombe, Viscount Helmsley and Lady Muriel Frances Louisa Chetwynd-Talbot, on 19 January 1904.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Gervase Beckett, 1st Bt., son of William Beckett-Denison and Hon. Helen Duncombe, on 1 November 1917.1 She died on 25 July 1964 at age 79.1
     From 19 January 1904, her married name became Duncombe. After her marriage, Lady Marjorie Blanche Eva Greville was styled as Countess of Feversham of Ryedale on 13 January 1915. From 1 November 1917, her married name became Beckett.

     Sir William Gervase Beckett, 1st Bt. was born on 14 January 1866.2 He was the son of William Beckett-Denison and Hon. Helen Duncombe.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Mabel Theresa Duncombe, daughter of William Reginald Duncombe, Viscount Helmsley and Lady Muriel Frances Louisa Chetwynd-Talbot, on 12 February 1896.2 He married, secondly, Lady Marjorie Blanche Eva Greville, daughter of Francis Richard Charles Guy Greville, 5th Earl of Warwick and Frances Evelyn Maynard, on 1 November 1917.3 He died on 24 August 1937 at age 71.3
     Sir William Gervase Beckett, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Gervase.2 He was principal proprietor and editor-in-chief of Saturday Review.2 He was a director of Westminster Bank.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire Hussars.2 On 17 July 1905 he was granted the rank of a baron's son.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Whitby between 1906 and 1918.2 He was Assistant Military Secretary of the Northen Command between 1914 and 1916.2 He was Assistant Director of the War and Trade Department between 1918 and 1919.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Scarborough and Whitby between 1918 and 1922.2 He was created 1st Baronet Beckett, of Kirkdale, co. York [U.K.] on 28 June 1921.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Leeds North between 1923 and 1929.2

     Major Nicholas Spencer Compton Collin was born in 1918.3 He was the son of Major Francis Spencer Collin and Bertha Mary Hornung.4,3 He married, firstly, Roberta Leslie Kirkwood, daughter of Sir Robert Lucian Morrison Kirkwood and Sybil G. Attenborough.3 He married, secondly, Lady Clarissa Duncombe, daughter of Charles Willian Slingsby Duncombe, 3rd Earl of Feversham of Ryedale and Lady Anne Dorothy Wood, on 14 December 1966.4 He died on 10 October 2004.5
     He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1 He lived at Whytherstone House, Pockley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.4,6

     Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow was born in 1885.3 She was the daughter of William Hillier Onslow, 4th Earl of Onslow and Hon. Florence Coulston Gardner.1,4 She married Edward Frederick Lindley Wood, 1st Earl of Halifax, son of Charles Lindley Wood, 2nd Viscount Halifax of Monk Bretton and Lady Agnes Elizabeth Courtenay, on 21 September 1909.1 She died in 1976.3
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 She was awarded the Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)1 She held the office of Extra Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 Her married name became Wood. After her marriage, Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow was styled as Baroness Irwin on 22 December 1925. After her marriage, Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow was styled as Viscountess Halifax of Monk Bretton on 19 January 1934. She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Leeds University, Leeds, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 After her marriage, Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow was styled as Countess of Halifax on 11 July 1944. She was appointed Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order (D.C.V.O.) in 1953.1

     Ruth Alice Hannah Mary Primrose was born on 18 April 1916.3 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Neil James Archibald Primrose and Lady Victoria Alice Louise Stanley.1,3 She married Charles Ingram Courtenay Wood, 2nd Earl of Halifax, son of Edward Frederick Lindley Wood, 1st Earl of Halifax and Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow, on 25 April 1936.1 She died on 31 August 1989 at age 73.4
     Her married name became Wood. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire in 1956.1 After her marriage, Ruth Alice Hannah Mary Primrose was styled as Countess of Halifax on 23 December 1959.

     James Drummond, 2nd Duke of Perth was born circa January 1673/74.2 He was the son of James Drummond, 4th Earl of Perth and Lady Jean Douglas.3 He married Lady Jane Gordon, daughter of George Gordon, 1st Duke of Gordon and Lady Elizabeth Howard, circa 5 October 1706.3 He died on 6 April 1720 at Paris, France.3
     He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.3 In 1713 he made over his estates to his son, james.3 He fought in the Battle of Sheriffmuir on 13 November 1715, where he commanded the Jacobite cavalry.3 On 17 February 1715/16 he was attainted.3 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Drummond [S., 1488] on 11 May 1716, de jure.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Duke of Perth [Scotland, 1690] on 11 May 1716, Jacobite.2 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Perth [S., 1605] on 11 May 1716, de jure.3 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4

     Vice-Admiral Sir Arthur Allison Fitzroy Talbot was born on 22 October 1909.1 He was the son of Captain Henry FitzRoy George Talbot and Susan Blair Athol Allison.1 He married, firstly, Joyce Gertrude Linley, daughter of Frank Edwin Linley, on 28 September 1940.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Ensor, daughter of Rupert Handley Ensor, in 1983.1 He died on 16 June 1998 at age 88.1
     Vice-Admiral Sir Arthur Allison Fitzroy Talbot usually went by his middle name of Fitzroy. He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1940 and bar (1943.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1961.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1964.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth between 1965 and 1967.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset in 1973.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1
