Hamon 'the Sheriff' (?) was the son of Richard (?)2 He died in 1047 at Val-ès-DunesG, slain.2
Feudal Lord of Creully, Evrecy, Mézy and Thorigny, Lower Normandy.3 Hamon 'the Sheriff' (?) also went by the nick-name of Haimon 'Dentatus' (?) (or in English, the Toothy.)3 He rebelled against William II, Duke of Normandy (later William the Conqueror) but was defeated and killed at Val-ès-Dunes.3
