     Bryan William Cave-Browne-Cave was born on 12 December 1915.¹ He was the son of Stretton Cave-Browne-Cave and Ethel Milbro Higgin-Birket.² He married Margaret Royston Cooke, daughter of Alfred Cooke, on 9 August 1947.¹ He died on 13 April 1980 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.² He graduated from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.¹ He was Head of Programmes for the BBC Northern Region in 1953.² He was Director of the British Forces Broadcasting Service in 1963.²

     Margaret Royston Cooke was the daughter of Alfred Cooke.² She married Bryan William Cave-Browne-Cave, son of Stretton Cave-Browne-Cave and Ethel Milbro Higgin-Birket, on 9 August 1947.¹ She died on 5 April 1978.²
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ From 9 August 1947, her married name became Cave-Browne-Cave.

     Myles Alfred Cave-Browne-Cave was born on 26 August 1949.¹ He is the son of Bryan William Cave-Browne-Cave and Margaret Royston Cooke.² He married Sally Jayne Lilley, daughter of Geoffrey Lilley, on 24 October 1986.¹
