     Hon. Catherine Petre is the daughter of William Petre, 2nd Baron Petre and Lady Katherine Somerset.^1,2

     William Petre, 2nd Baron Petre was born on 24 June 1575 at West Horndon, Essex, England^G.³ He was the son of John Petre, 1st Baron Petre and Mary Waldegrave.^3,4 He married Lady Katherine Somerset, daughter of Edward Somerset, 4th Earl of Worcester and Lady Elizabeth Hastings, on 8 November 1596.^2,4 He died in 1637.²
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex from 1597 to 1598.⁴ He was appointed Knight in 1603.⁴ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Petre, of Writtle, co. Essex [E., 1603] on 11 October 1613.¹

     Margaret Drummond married John Caryll, son of Sir John Caryll and Hon. Catherine Petre.¹ She died in 1656.¹
     Her married name became Caryll.¹

     Captain William Allen Proby, Lord Proby was born on 19 June 1779.² He was the son of John Joshua Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort and Elizabeth Osborne.¹ He died on 6 August 1804 at age 25 at Surinam^G, from yellow fever while in command of the frigate H.M.S. Amelia, unmarried.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in January 1806.¹
     He was educated after 30 September 1788 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was styled as Lord Proby between 1789 and 1804.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1798 in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Buckingham between 1802 and 1804.¹

     General John Proby, 2nd Earl of Carysfort was born in 1780.¹ He was the son of John Joshua Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort and Elizabeth Osborne.¹ He died on 11 June 1855 at Westbury, Bristol, England^G, unmarried.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in July 1855.¹

Huntingdon [U.K., 1801] on 7 April 1828.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Carysfort, of Carysfort, co. Wicklow [I., 1752] on 7 April 1828.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Carysfort [I., 1789] on 7 April 1828.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1830.¹ He gained the rank of General in 1846.¹ He was insane for the last years of his life.¹

     Wesley Glenn Douglass married Elizabeth Anne Presnail, daughter of Richard James Presnail and Marilyn Rowan.¹

     Jose de Rozas y Meléndez de La Cuesta, 2º Conde del Castel Blanco was born on 16 December 1665 at Lima, Peru^G.³ He married, firstly, Mary Drummond, daughter of John Drummond, 1st Earl of Melfort and Euphemia Wallace.¹ He married, secondly, Frances Drummond, daughter of John Drummond, 1st Earl of Melfort and Euphemia Wallace.¹ He died in July 1722 at age 56 at Madrid, Spain.³
