     Richard Orpen was born in 1736.² He was the son of Richard Orpen.² He married, firstly, Anne Townsend, daughter of Horatio Townsend and Anne Richards, on 6 November 1766.²

     Elizabeth Becher was born circa 1782.² She was the daughter of Richard Hedges Becher and Mary Alleyne.¹ She died circa January 1851 at Lakelands, Ireland^G.²

     Anne Becher was the daughter of Richard Hedges Becher and Mary Alleyne.¹

     Catherine Jermyn was born circa 1783.² She was the daughter of Henry Jermyn.² She married Henry Owen Becher, son of Richard Hedges Becher and Letitia Hungerford, on 29 July 1805 at Aughadown, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2 She died on 30 September 1815.² She was buried at St. Matthews, Aughadown, County Cork, Ireland^G.²
     From 29 July 1805, her married name became Becher.¹

     Ellen Jervois was born in 1783.^2,3 She was the daughter of Samuel Jervois.¹ She married Peter Cussen in 1808.⁴ She died on 18 August 1854.
     From 1808, her married name became Cussen.⁴

     Samuel Jervois was born in 1724.² He was the son of Samuel Jervois and Susannah Becher.² He died on 12 May 1794.²

     John Richard Hedges Becher was born circa December 1825 at Aughadown, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Henry Owen Becher and Ellen Jervois.¹ He married Lucinda Jane Elizabeth Hull, daughter of Richard Hull and Henrietta Becher, on 14 September 1850 at St. Nicholas, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2 He died on 16 April 1901 at Loughine House, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2
     He was commissioned in 1843 with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.^1,2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 24 September 1847.² He retired from the military in 1851.² He lived at Hollybrook, Abbeystrowry, County Cork, Ireland^G, which was given to him by his first cousin Richard Henry Hodges Becher.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Loughine House, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Edward Hull Becher was born in 1836.² He was the son of Henry Owen Becher and Ellen Jervois.¹ He died on 23 September 1899 at Castlehaven Rectory, Castlehaven, County Cork, Ireland^G, unmarried.^1,2
     He was Captain in the Mercantile Marine.²

     Michael Becher was born in 1837 at County Cork, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Henry Owen Becher and Ellen Jervois.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Stewart, daughter of Reverend Charles Frederick Stewart and Anne Stirling, on 6 July 1860 at Clondahorky, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2 He married, secondly, Eliza Becher, daughter of Michael Alleyne Becher and Elizabeth Sherrard, on 17 April 1879 at County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2 He died on 21 January 1913.² He was also reported to have died on 21 January 1915.² He was buried at St. Matthews, Aughadown, County Cork, Ireland^G.²
