Henry Thomas Cary, 8th Viscount of Falkland was born on 27 February 1766.1 He was the son of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith.1 He died on 28 May 1796 at age 30, unmarried.1

Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland was born in November 1768.1 He was the son of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith.1 He was baptised on 14 January 1769 at Iwerne-Minster, Dorset, England.2 He married Christiana Anton on 25 August 1802.1 He died on 2 March 1809 at age 40, mortally wounded in a duel with Arthur Powell two days later.1
He succeeded as the 9th Viscount of Falkland, of Falkland, co. Fife [S., 1620] on 28 May 1796.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Carye [S., 1620] on 28 May 1796.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

Admiral Plantagenet Pierrepont Cary, 11th Viscount of Falkland was born on 8 September 1806.1 He was the son of Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland and Christiana Anton.1 He married Mary Anne Maubert, daughter of John Francis Maubert and Mary Anne Moore, on 27 April 1853.1 He died on 1 February 1886 at age 79, without issue.1
