     Lieutenant William Alexander Anderson was born on 22 September 1922.¹ He was the son of Paul Alexander Anderson and Aileen Anne Bourke.¹ He died on 17 October 1943 at age 21, killed in action aboard the HMS Submarine Trooper.¹

     He was given the name of Michael Melhado Garsia at birth.² He held the office of Inspector-General of Military Prisions.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Constance Agnes Jane Kirwan was the daughter of Very Rev. Anthony La Touche Kirwan and Susan Blacker.¹ She married Thomas William Anderson, son of James Anderson and Margaret Carew, on 10 November 1879.¹ She died on 9 August 1881.¹
     From 10 November 1879, her married name became Anderson.¹

     Very Rev. Anthony La Touche Kirwan was the son of Very Rev. Walter Blake Kirwan.¹ He married Susan Blacker, daughter of William Blacker and Elizabeth Anne Carew, on 8 January 1840.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)² He held the office of Dean of Limerick.¹

     Susan Blacker was the daughter of William Blacker and Elizabeth Anne Carew.^1,2 She married Very Rev. Anthony La Touche Kirwan, son of Very Rev. Walter Blake Kirwan, on 8 January 1840.² She died on 17 May 1908.²
     From 8 January 1840, her married name became Kirwan.²

     William Blacker was born in 1790.² He was the son of Captain William Blacker and Susan Jacob.² He married Elizabeth Anne Carew, daughter of Robert Shapland Carew and Anne Pigott, in 1814.² He died in May 1831.²
     He lived at Woodbrook House, Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland^G.²

     Susan Alice Anderson was born in 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas William Anderson and Constance Agnes Jane Kirwan.¹ She died on 19 December 1941, unmarried.¹
