     Sir Peregrine Gerard Worsthorne was born on 22 December 1923.3 He was the son of Colonel Alexander Louis Wynand Koch de Gooreynd and Priscilla Cecilia Maria Worsthorne Reyntiens.3 He married Claude Bertrand de Colasse in 1950.4 He married, secondly, Lady Lucinda Lambton, daughter of Lord Antony Claude Frederick Lambton and Belinda Bridget Blew-Jones, on 11 May 1991.1 He died on 4 October 2020 at age 96.4
     He was given the name of Peregrine Koch de Gooreynd at birth.5 He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.4 He was educated at Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He wrote the book The Socialist Myth, published 1972.4 He was editor of the Sunday Telegraph between 1986 and 1989.4 He wrote the book Tricks of Memory, published 1993.4 He wrote the book In Defence of Aristocracy, published 2004.4
