     Timothy Hetherington Earle Bulwer-Long is the son of Brigadier Hetherington Bulwer-Long and Mary Elizabeth E. Bulwer.2,3 He married Rosamond Aileen Purdon Coote, daughter of Major Charles Robert Purdon Coote and Noel Margaret Jephson Stracey, on 22 April 1965.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 15th/19th King's Royal Hussars.1
