Angus, Lord of Bute and Arran1

     Angus, Lord of Bute and Arran was the son of Somerled, Thane of Argyll and Ragnhild (?)1 He died in 1210 at ScotlandG, killed by the men of Skye, without surviving male issue.1
     He inherited Bute, Arran and Gamoran, but lost these to his brother Ranald.1 He gained the title of Lord of Arran. He gained the title of Lord of Bute.

     William Stewart, 2nd Lord Ochiltree was born circa 1659.1 He was the son of Sir James Stewart, 1st Lord Ochiltree and Mary Livingston.2 He died on 12 February 1675, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Ochiltree [S., 1615] circa 1659.1
     On his death, his Lordship became dormant or expired.1

     Hugh Campbell, 1st Lord Campbell of Loudoun was the son of Sir Matthew Campbell of Loudoun and Isabel Drummond.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Gordon, daughter of Sir John Gordon of Lochinvar and Juliana Home, in 1572.3 He married, secondly, Lady Isabel Ruthven, daughter of William Ruthven, 1st Earl of Gowrie and Dorothea Stewart, after 1608.3 He married, thirdly, Margaret Home, daughter of Sir George Home of Wedderburn, circa 11 October 1617.2 He died on 15 December 1622.3
     He was appointed Knight in 1572.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Ayr.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Irvine in 1579.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1601.3 He was created 1st Lord Campbell of Loudoun [Scotland] on 30 June 1601.4

     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 15th Baron Arundell of Wardour, co. Wiltshire [E., 1605] on 8 December 1921.1
