     Amy White is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Esmonde White.2 She married Herbert John Massy, son of Arthur Wellington Massy and Emma Elizabeth Rhys Stokes, on 18 November 1912.1
     From 18 November 1912, her married name became Massy.

Colonel Charles Walter Massy1

     Colonel Charles Walter Massy was born on 2 May 1887.1 He was the son of Arthur Wellington Massy and Emma Elizabeth Rhys Stokes.2 He married, firstly, Muriel Lorna Bell Hallinan, daughter of Joseph Aloysius Hallinan and Muriel Anderson Bell, on 1 September 1920.1 He married, secondly, Irene Gillbee Thorold, daughter of Richard Gillbee Thorold and Ellen Irene Hogg, on 25 November 1958.1 He died on 1 June 1973 at age 86.2
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded, and mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Testimonial for saving life in 1924.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1940.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Monmouthshire between 1948 and 1951.1

     Muriel Lorna Bell Hallinan was born on 9 February 1898.2 She was the daughter of Joseph Aloysius Hallinan and Muriel Anderson Bell.3,4 She married Colonel Charles Walter Massy, son of Arthur Wellington Massy and Emma Elizabeth Rhys Stokes, on 1 September 1920.1 She died on 9 September 1958 at age 60.1
     From 1 September 1920, her married name became Massy.
