Sir Levinus Bennet, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1631.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Bennet, 1st Bt. and Mary Monke.1 He married Judith Boevey, daughter of William Boevey and Anne Lucie, on 6 July 1653 at Allhallows', London Wall, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 5 December 1693 at London, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 14 December 1693 at Babraham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) in January 1693/94.2
He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 3 February 1643/44.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire from 1652 to 1653.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bennet, of Baberham, co. Cambridge [E., 1660] in June 1667.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridgeshire between 1679 and 1693.1 His last will was dated 3 December 1690.
