     Sir FitzWilliam Barrington, 8th Bt. was born on 9 May 1708 at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt. and Susan Draper.¹ He was baptised at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Meade, daughter of Thomas Meade, on 18 June 1741 at Ely Chapel, St. Andrew's, Holborn, London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Hall, daughter of Matthew Hall, on 24 February 1749/50 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died on 24 September 1792 at age 84 at Great James Street, London, England^G, after ten years of palsy.¹ His will (dated 25 August 1792) was proven (by probate) on 2 October 1792.¹
