Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt.1

     Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt. was born circa 1673.1 He was the son of John Barrington and Elizabeth Hawkins.1 He married Susan Draper, daughter of George Draper.1 He died in August 1717.1 He was buried at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 7 November 1717.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 29 January 1714/15.1 He lived at Dunmow Park, Essex, EnglandG.1 He lived at Swainston, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He lived at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 His last will was dated 26 March 1717.

     Susan Draper was the daughter of George Draper.1 She married Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt., son of John Barrington and Elizabeth Hawkins.1 She died circa 1750.1 She was buried at Lilly, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in October 1750.1
     Her married name became Barrington.1

     Sir John Barrington, 7th Bt. was the son of Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt. and Susan Draper.1 He married Mary Roberts, daughter of Patricus Roberts and Elizabeth Weston.1 He died on 4 May 1776, without issue.1 He was buried at Lilly, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in May 1776.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] in August 1717.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown, Isle of Wight between 1727 and 1775.1 His last will was dated 3 April 1770. He lived at Swainston, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He lived at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Sir FitzWilliam Barrington, 8th Bt. was born on 9 May 1708 at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Barrington, 6th Bt. and Susan Draper.1 He was baptised at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Meade, daughter of Thomas Meade, on 18 June 1741 at Ely Chapel, St. Andrew's, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Jane Hall, daughter of Matthew Hall, on 24 February 1749/50 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 24 September 1792 at age 84 at Great James Street, London, EnglandG, after ten years of palsy.1 His will (dated 25 August 1792) was proven (by probate) on 2 October 1792.1
     In 1745 he inherited the estate of his uncle, George Draper.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Hertfordshire from 1754 to 1755.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 4 May 1776.1 He lived at Swainston, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He lived at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1
