     Sir Richard Llewellyn Barwick, 3rd Bt. was born on 4 November 1916.¹ He was the son of Sir John Storey Barwick, 2nd Bt. and Gwladys Jessie Thomas.^1,3 He married, firstly, Valerie Maud Skelton, daughter of Robert Jeremiah Skelton, on 26 July 1948.¹ He and Valerie Maud Skelton were divorced in July 1968.⁴ He married, secondly, Denise Pole, daughter of Alexander Reginald Pole, on 26 September 1968 at Pocklington Registrar's Office, York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He died on 16 June 1979 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.³ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.³ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barwick, of Ashbrooke Grange, Sunderland [U.K., 1912] on 26 March 1953.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was chairman of Midland Bank.³ He was president of the Asiatic Petroleum Company between 1958 and 1961 at New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was managing director of the Royal Dutch Shell Group between 1961 and 1972.¹ He was a director of Shell Transport and Trading Company Ltd between 1961 and 1983.¹ He was a director of Drayton Corporation and Dryaton Group.¹ He was a director of Marine Midland Bank.¹ He was a director of Rheem Manufacturing Company.¹ He was chairman of Shell Oil Company between 1970 and 1972.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1971.¹ He was a director of Glaxo Holdings in 1973.¹ He was a director of International Marine Banking Company in 1973.¹ He was a director of BICC in 1973.¹ He was a director of Samuel Montagu in 1974.¹ He was a director of British Leyland in 1975.¹ He was a director of Standard Chartered Bank in 1977.¹ He was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1980.¹

     Colonel Timothy M. Braithwaite was born on 9 June 1917.² He married Jean Esther Dalgliesh, daughter of Kenneth Dalgliesh and Ellen Constance Franklin.³ He died on 19 January 1989 at age 71.²
