Sir John Robert Arnott, 5th Bt.1

     Sir John Robert Arnott, 5th Bt. was born on 9 April 1927.1 He was the son of Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. and Emita Emelia James.1 He married Ann Farrelly, daughter of Terence Alphonsus Farrelly, in 1974.1 He died in 1981.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He was editor of the Irish Times.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Arnott, of Woodlands, Shandon, co. Cork [U.K., 1896] on 25 July 1966.1

     Professor Eric John Arnott was born on 12 June 1929.1 He was the son of Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. and Emita Emelia James.1 He married Veronica Mary von der Seedeck, daughter of Captain Arvid Lanqué Querfeld von der Seedeck, on 19 November 1960.1 He died on 1 December 2011 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1954 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts of Obstretics (B.A.O.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from London University, London, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Opthamology (D.O.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.) in 1962.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Opthalmologists (F.R.C.Ophth.) in 1988.1 He lived in 2003 at Trottsford Farm, Headley, Hampshire, EnglandG.1

     From 19 November 1960, her married name became Arnott.1
