Martin Michael Charles Charteris, Baron Charteris of Amisfield was born on 7 September 1913.1 He was the son of Hugo Francis Charteris, Lord Elcho and Lady Violet Catherine Manners.2,3 He married Hon. Mary Gay Hobart Margesson, daughter of Henry David Reginald Margesson, 1st Viscount Margesson and Frances Howard Leggett, on 16 December 1944.1 He died on 23 December 1999 at age 86.1

     Lady Mary Pamela Madeline Sibell Charteris was born on 24 October 1895.1 She was the daughter of Hugo Richard Charteris, 11th Earl of Wemyss and Mary Constance Wyndham.2 She married, firstly, Algernon Walter Strickland, son of Algernon Henry Peter Strickland and Mary Selina Drummond, on 4 December 1915.1 She married, secondly, Major John George Lyon, son of John Stewart Lyon, 4th of Kirkmichael and Esme Agnes Mary Helen Dunlop, on 14 April 1943.1 She died in 1991.2
     From 4 December 1915, her married name became Strickland. From 14 April 1943, her married name became Lyon.

     Annie Evelyn Pelly was the daughter of Sir Henry Carstairs Pelly, 3rd Bt. and Lady Lilian Harriet Charteris.2 She married Thomas Henry Rivers Bulkeley, son of Colonel Charles Rivers Bulkeley, on 19 April 1913.1 She died on 11 July 1923.1
     She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)1 She was Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Duchess of Connaught.1 Her married name became Bulkeley.

     William Edward Parsons, 5th Earl of Rosse was born on 14 June 1873.1 He was the son of Laurence Parsons, 4th Earl of Rosse and Hon. Frances Cassandra Hawke-Harvey.1 He married Frances Lois Lister-Kaye, daughter of Sir Cecil Edmund Lister-Kaye, 4th Bt. and Lady Beatrice Adeline Pelham-Clinton, on 19 October 1905.2 He died on 10 June 1918 at age 44, from wounds received in action.1
