     Karl Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 27 June 1784 at Barchfeld, Germany.² He was the son of Adolf Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Wilhelmine Luise von Sachsen-Meiningen.^3,2 He married Auguste von Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen, daughter of Friedrich Ludwig Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen and Amalie Gräfin von Hoym, on 19 July 1816.² He married, secondly, Sophie Prinzessin von Bentheim und Steinfurt, daughter of Ludwig Wilhelm Geldricus Ernst Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt and Juliana Wilhelmine zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 10 September 1823.² He died on 17 July 1854 at age 70 at Philppsthal, Germany.²
     He gained the title of Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld in 1813.¹

     Friedrich Wilhelm Prinz von Ardeck was born on 2 November 1858 at Offenbach, Germany^G.² He was the son of Wilhelm Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marie Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married Anne Hollingsworth Price, daughter of James Price and Sarah Harlan, on 17 December 1890 at Dresden, Sachsen, Germany^G.² He died on 1 April 1902 at age 43 at Wilhelmshöhe, Germany.²

She died on 4 March 1919 at age 54 at Ahrweiler, Germany^G.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Ardeck.¹

     Luise Prinzessin von Ardeck was born on 12 December 1868 at Langenselbold, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marie Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ She married Rudolf Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld, son of Julius Prinz zur Lippe and Adelheid Clotilde Auguste zu Castell-Castell, on 2 November 1889. She died on 21 November 1959 at age 90 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany^G.
     She was also known as Luise von Hessen-Philippstahl.² She gained the title of Prinzessin von Ardeck.¹

     Emilia Evans is the daughter of Rt. Hon. George Evans and Mary Eyre.¹ She married Very Rev. William Crowe.
     Her married name became Crowe.¹

     Chlodwig Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 30 July 1876 at Burgsteinfurt, Germany^G.¹ He was the son of Wilhelm Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Juliane Prinzessin zu Bentheim und Steinfurt.¹ He married Karoline Prinzessin von Solms-Hohensolms-Lich, daughter of Hermann Adolf Fürst zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich and Agnes Gräfin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, on 26 March 1904.¹ He died on 17 November 1954 at age 78 at Bad Hersfeld, Germany^G.¹
     He gained the title of Landgraf Chlodwig von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹

     Christian Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 16 June 1887 at Luisenlund Castle, Holstein, Germany^G.² He was the son of Wilhelm Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Auguste Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Reid Rodgers, daughter of Richard Rodgers and Eunice Tomlin, on 14 January 1915.² He married, secondly, Ann Pearl Everett on 10 June 1958 at Geneva, Switzerland^G, in a civil marriage, and on 25 June 1958 in a religious ceremony in Cannes, France.² He died on 29 October 1971 at age 84.
     He gained the title of Prinz Christian von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹

     Karoline Prinzessin von Solms-Hohensolms-Lich was born on 27 May 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Hermann Adolf Fürst zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich and Agnes Gräfin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode.¹ She married Chlodwig Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld, son of Wilhelm Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Juliane Prinzessin zu Bentheim und Steinfurt, on 26 March 1904.¹ She died on 28 November 1958 at age 81.¹

     Monika Gräfin Strachwitz von Gross-Zauche und Camminetz was born on 11 June 1939 at Eisenach, Germany^G.¹ She is the daughter of Manfred Graf Strachwitz von Gross-Zauche und Camminetz.¹ She was also reported to have been born on 11 July 1939 at Eisenach, Germany^G. She married Hermann Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld, son of Wilhelm Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marianne Prinzessin von Preußen, on 9 May 1962.¹
